Supporters of The Women’s Club of Costa Rica
There are many ways to support the work of The Women’s Club: donations of money, services, time, all contribute to make it possible
Through the generous, annual contributions of benefactors in Costa Rica and abroad, student support is assured of continuation. We are grateful for the sponsorships gifted by individuals, businesses, and charitable foundations, and our grants from CRUSA, a Costa Rica-American non-governmental organization. New donors are welcome; gifts are tax-free within Costa Rica. View our donations page for more information.
The following associations have greatly aided the WCCR in fulfilling its mission through project support:
ASOBITICO is a group of educators, academics, businessmen and citizens organized to support the improvement of the Costa Rican public education system. Working with the Ministry of Education in collaboration with private sectors to support the implementation of the International Baccalaureate program in 20 public schools in the country by 2017. One thousand (1,000) students graduate in 2014 secondary education programs.
CRUSA is a private, independent, non-political and non-profit Costa Rican foundation. Contributions to Costa Rica’s sustainable development is made as CRUSA donates resources from its Endowment Fund. It also uses its financial solidity, credibility and administrative capacity to leverage resources from third parties and raises funds for the projects and initiatives that it supports.
The Amigos Asociados group is comprised of some excellent men: husbands, partners and friends of WCCR members who contribute in countless ways to our success. They haul things without complaint, do the set up for venues, park cars in the rain, pour wine at our events, provide technical support, and always dig deep into their pockets to contribute to our fundraising efforts. They are an integral part of who we are as a Club and we are grateful for their support. If you would like to join their ranks and become an Amigos Asociado contact us.
