About the Scholarship Program
In 2011, honor students in grades 11 & 12, who need financial assistance, will receive an award of $250. The students are nominated by counselors at public high schools throughout Costa Rica. Banco Nacional™ deposits the payment bi-monthly into the account of each student. The scholarships are donated by individuals or groups of individuals and The Women’s Club of Costa Rica. A committee works diligently throughout the year visiting schools and students, processing information, and collecting funds.
